Exchanging Places gives cyclists the opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat of a lorry to see how difficult it is to see a cyclist riding close to the vehicle.  Experienced traffic police officers explain how this type of collision often happens and give various examples how to change your behaviour by avoiding the blind spots.

The event is also an opportunity to get bicycles security marked and registered as well as have them checked over by a Dr Bike mechanic.

All are welcome to attend the free cycle safety event which will be held on St John Street (near the Farmiloe Building) on 20 May 2016, 7.30am to 10.30am.
