Autumn’s property market feels subdued as buyers adopt a “wait and see” stance ahead of the 26 November Budget. Confidence is fragile, yet well-priced, well-presented homes still sell. Value perception drives decisions, and while transactions progress slowly due to paperwork delays, reasonable offers continue to be accepted.
Lettings
Rental activity remains strong, though we’re nearing the typically quieter months. Most tenants are renewing, leading to fewer changes, but available apartments are still quickly taken. It remains to be seen whether the newly enacted Renters’ Rights Act will influence market dynamics or tenant behaviour in the coming months.
