NHS Health Check
I was at the city-wide residents’ meeting at the Guildhall yesterday where there was a City Health kiosk and I noticed schedules for free health checks running at the Barbican Library Saturday 5th and 19th 11am to 2pm. The checks take just 20 minutes and are free if you are:
- hard to reach/higher risk staff (e.g. security/cleaning/repairs etc) OR a city resident
- 40-74 years old
- have not been diagnosed or take medication for Heart Disease, Stroke, Diabetes, High Cholesterol, Blood Pressure or Kidney Disease
- have not had an NHS check in the last 5 years
