Cantina del Ponte
‘Three Generations’ gluten-free master classes at Cantina del Ponte
From February to May 2016, Cantina del Ponte, an Italian trattoria by the River Thames, will be hosting a series of gluten free master classes. A collaboration between author Stephanie Seege and Cantina del Ponte, the classes will aim to educate people looking to expand their knowledge in an area sometimes perceived as challenging to those living gluten-free.
The ‘Three Generations’ masterclasses are designed to be suitable for all the family, from young children to grandparents, and offer the perfect opportunity to bake and cook together. The masterclasses can be taken individually or over several Saturdays as a complete course. Each session teaches guests the staples of maintaining a gluten free diet, Italian-style, and covers pizza, pasta, breads and cakes (full outline below). Guests will gain hands on experience of creating dishes that not only reflect modern culinary trends but can also help to make a difference to long-term eating habits, if desired or needed.
Each class is priced at £50 per person, or for three generations booking a class together, £140 total. The session includes a gluten free lunch, sampling the dishes produced in class, and Stephanie’s book, Soulflavours is also available for an additional £10. Classes will take place on Saturday 27th February, Sunday 6th March, Saturday 2nd April and Saturday 7th May.
The sessions will also include an introduction to HELPINGS, the online platform created by Stephanie to provide information and inspiration about mental and physical health, food and recipes, digestion, sleep, yoga and meditation, relationships and anything that evokes happiness.
