Goldsmiths’ Fair, the UK’s premier showcase of fine contemporary jewellery and silver, returns this autumn (22 Sept – 4 Oct) with a stellar line-up of exhibitors, special exhibitions and exciting events. Held at iconic Goldsmiths’ Hall, it unveils the latest collections from 168 accomplished UK-based designer-makers!

 

Stunning jewellery reflects traditional and cutting-edge techniques. The Fair is also proof of the UK’s global lead in contemporary silversmithing, fostering domestic talent and attracting international young makers.

 

From beautiful bracelets in the region of £150 to spectacular gem-set necklaces costing upwards of £50,000, Goldsmiths’ Fair offers something for everybody and is ideally timed for early Christmas shopping!

 

Josef Koppmann, Catherine Best and Catherine Martin are among renowned jewellery names to showcase their stunning creations.

 

Interior design lovers are treated to spectacular contemporary silver luxuries. Abigail Brown’s nature-inspired works exemplify artistry at its finest whilst Christopher Perry’s treasures explore asymmetrical sophistication.

 

A place for talent spotting, the Fair’s Graduate Scheme provides a launch pad to 10 rising stars via a bursary and mentoring programme managed by the Goldsmiths’ Centre.  Ones to watch include Kyosun JungLindsay Hill and Joseph Jackson.

 

In addition to exhibitor stands, there are two special exhibitions: director of London’s Serpentine Gallery and leading art world figure, Julia Peyton-Jones guest curates Julia Peyton-Jones Selects, a showcase of her 23 favourite pieces from this year’s Fair. John Donald: Precious Statements features select jewellery by the critically acclaimed designer-maker whose work has attracted royal patronage.

 

Fascinating Breakfast Talks will be hosted by a range of high profile jewellery design personalities, including jewellery editor of British Vogue Carol Woolton, BBC Antiques Road Show jewellery specialist Joanna Hardy, director of GIA London Edward Johnson, senior curator at the Museum of London Hazel Forsyth, and managing director of Wartski Geoffrey MunnJohn Donald will be conversation with art-jewellery expert Louisa Guinness.
