House of Muses is a temporary, striking installation outside the Museum of London, which will launch at the London Festival of Architecture. The structure, designed by London-Zurich-based collective GRUPPE is conceived to invite visitors to think about what a museum could and should be. GRUPPE were selected from an architectural competition run by the museum and The Architecture Foundation, which received over 70 entries. Their design is inspired by the historic fragments found around the City of London, and is conceived as a pillar from an imaginary monument.
