Dear friends and neighbours,
St Giles’ Book Fair will open this Wednesday 3 May and run until 21 May. 11am-4pm, but until 6.30pm on Wednesdays, Thursday and Saturdays.
From Thursday 18 May to the end there’ll be our Flash Sale with books beneath the organ loft £1 each. Otherwise, paperbacks are £3 each and hardback £4, unless otherwise marked (we only mark-up more valuable books and even then we aim at about 70% of their market value).
If travelling far, call Jake on 07766 202 731 to check we aren’t unexpectedly closed. If you’d like to volunteer, please email Karen via volunteer.stgilesbooks@gmail.com. Whether you like mass-sorting or just ‘manning’ the desk and drinking tea, all welcome.
We are as ever very grateful (and utterly dependent) on those who generously donate and buy the books, CDs, records, etc. All funds go to towards the maintenance of the church. In addition to being a place for Christian worship, we are pleased to host cultural and community events like this, and look forward to seeing you soon.
