London’s First Ever Christmas ‘Puds and Trees Market’

  • London’s first ever Puds and Trees market launches in December at Cowcross Yards forming the second ‘YUM @ Cowcross Yards’
  • A jaw-dropping ‘Christmas Pudding Tree’, the first of its kind, will be covered in edible puds with a surprising twist
  • A three-day festive feast sees one late-night and two daytime markets to celebrate seasonality, tradition and trends

Nestled between Cowcross Street, Britton Street and St John Street, and a stone’s throw from Farringdon Station, the newest foodie hotspot in the heart of London, Cowcross Yards, is offering three days of festive food and drink as well as London’s first ever ‘Christmas Pudding Tree’ as part of its second ‘YUM @ Cowcross Yards’ – Puds and Trees Market.

Kicking off on Wednesday 11th December, the Puds and Trees Market will be open between 4.30pm-7.30pm, inviting the capital’s foodies to meander through the twinkling lights of its newly-installed urban forest and seek out a sumptuous dish from one of the many resident food vendors organised by Urban Food Fest. Visitors will get the chance to gaze at the jaw-dropping ‘Christmas Pudding Tree’ centrepiece of the market before picking their own free pudding from the tree. What’s more, foodies should prepare for the surprise from the pudding itself – what flavour will they get? Traditional recipe or modern twist?

On Thursday 12th and Friday 13th December, the Puds and Trees Market will continue with daytime dishes between 11am-2.30pm. Guests can expect delicious festive treats as they immerse themselves in Christmas with a sanctuary of seasonal flavours, tastes and smells.

Food aside, guests can marvel at Cowcross Yards’ renowned and unmissable mural from London’s hottest street art collective, Graffiti Kings. Having worked with Rihanna, Stella McCartney, Dior, DKNY, Calvin Klein and David Beckham, their six Insta-worthy larger than life cows at Cowcross Yards will leave no room for scrooges.

Entrance to YUM @ Cowcross Yards is completely free.
Food from the vendors starts from £4.
The puddings on the ‘Christmas Pudding Tree’ are one per person whilst stocks last.
