Using the image of the sea and water as a metaphor for transformation, you will write from personal experience about the impact of ageing and the menopause on identity, sex, and sexuality in a safe and supportive space, without any pressure to share work.
Back by popular demand, facilitating the workshop are Apala Chowdhury (award-winning and long-listed writer for BPA first novel award, Bath Novel Award and The Asian Writers’ first novel competition) and Maggie Winters (debut novelist represented by Lorella Belli).
Whether you’ve never written before, or are an experienced writer, everyone is welcome, regardless of writing ability, gender, sexuality, age, or access needs. Our participants for past workshops say:
‘Thank you for a fabulous workshop.’
‘You both enabled us all to explore, experiment, do and be who and what we are.’
‘It was a brilliant workshop.’
